Dr. Joseph Sze

BMedSci MBBS FRACGP

Joseph grew up in Melbourne’s east and obtained his MBBS from the University of Tasmania. He returned to Victoria to obtain his fellowship in the RACGP and has been working in the South East for 7 years before opening Chelsea Beach Medical Centre. He has a special interest in paediatrics and diabetes care.

Joseph has a passion for golf and travel but they have taken a back seat to the challenge of raising his three beautiful girls who run him ragged.

Dr. Preeti Gadgil

MBBS FRACGP

Preeti has worked at clinics in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs, where she has a large following and is respected for her professionalism and care as a GP.

She has a wide range of medical experience including working in hospitals, psychiatry, rural medicine and even worked as a Civilian Medical Officer for The Australian Defence Force. Preeti is multi-lingual and speaks English, Hindi and Marathi. 

Preeti has a keen interest in women’s health, children's health, chronic disease management and is available Wednesday and Fridays.

When not at work, Preeti enjoys cooking, listening to music and going for walks.

Dr. Vasuthan (Vasu) Sellathurai

MBBS FRACGP MCRS-1

Dr. Vasu Sellathurai (MBBS, FRACGP) completed his MBBS in Sri Lanka and obtained his fellowship in Australia 2008. He also worked at Monash Clayton/ED and Box Hill Hospital 2019-2021.

Vasu is multi-lingual and speaks English, Tamil and Sinhalese

Special Interests: Dermatology, Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery

Procedures: skin check, removal of skin lesions, laceration repair, chronic disease management especially diabetic, general medicine, women’s health, children’s health, mental health and geriatric medicine


Dr. Jyothi Sehgal

FRACGP DCH

Dr Sehgal graduated medical school in 1996 from New Delhi in India.

She has been a GP for over 10 years now. She treats patients of all age groups, with special interest in paediatrics. She has worked in paediatrics in India and in Sydney Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She has a Diploma in Child Health from India and from Sydney.

Other than English, she speaks Hindi and Kannada.


Dr. Janet Hong

MBBS FRACGP FAMAC

Dr. Janet Hong is an Integrative Medical Doctor and Medical Acupuncturist. She graduated from Melbourne University in 1996 having worked at various tertiary hospitals for several years and then in rural and various GP clinics since 2002

Dr. Hong’s wholistic GP skills and areas of interest include:

  • Women’s Health through all stages of life

  • Paediatric and Children’s Health

  • Musculoskeletal Conditions

  • Mental Health Conditions (Stress/ Bereavement/ Anxiety/ Depression/ OCD/ Sleep Disorder)

  • Lifestyle Coaching and Counselling for stress management

Dr. Hong is able to combine her knowledge of orthodox traditional medicine with the use of complementary remedies including medical acupuncture and lifestyle medicine. She would be happy to assist with any of your health concerns and work with other allied health specialist if necessary to achieve the best health outcome for her patients.


Dr. Adrian Buckley

MBBS FRACGP

Adrian completed his medical training in Sydney and worked there in a range of hospital settings then relocated to Melbourne several years ago to work as a GP.

He enjoys the variety of general practice and the opportunity to provide complete whole-person care with the aim of helping people to live well across all stages of life. Adrian performs minor skin procedures, iron infusions, implanon and yellow fever vaccination.

After a recent move, Adrian is enjoying exploring the Bayside area and making the most of the beach with his two young children.
