COVID-19 Update - July 2020
To our valued patients,
To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we are taking extra safety precautions including:
Restricted face to face consultations (necessary consults will persist)
Compulsory call to check-in with reception before entering the clinic
Mandatory mask wearing for anyone over 12 years of age (unless there is an exemption)
Patient temperature testing upon entering the surgery
Increased regular cleaning of the clinic
Decreased number of chairs, to comply with social distancing
Removal of all books and magazines
The implementation of screens at the front desk, in addition to hand sanitizer that is available for all patients
Option to fax, email and post scripts and referrals to your nominated specialist or pharmacy
Phone and Telehealth consults available as well as phone triage for either phone or face to face appointments
Please note that face to face consultations will only be offered where it is clinically relevant and suitable to do so, for all other matters we strongly encourage Telehealth appointments for all patients.
We ask all of our patients to please look after their personal health and maintain regular health checks. There are various COVID-19 testing sites within the South East suburbs. Please visit the Monash Health website, Peninsula Health website or the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria website for updated testing sites.
